New Additions to the Design Team

Hello stamping friends!!

If you are looking for the current challenge, click here.

Well, it took MUCH longer than expected to pick the new additions to the Design Team!
There were so many lovely entries and it was so hard to choose.
Thank you so much to everyone who applied to the DT Call.

We are here today to announce the new members to the team...
Tanya
Tanya was a previous guest designer who we have asked to stay on with the team!

Hello everyone. My name is Tanya. I am married to my Childhood sweetheart Brian for five years now although we have been together for 17. We have a beautiful 4 year old daughter named Abigail who is amazing. I have been scrapbooking for way too many years and stamping just as long (probably around 12 years now). I love the outlet it gives me and how it helps me relax after a busy day at work/home. I enjoy creating projects and showing others my work for inspiration. What's even more exciting is my daughter loves to stamp with me and I can't wait to see her progression with it :) You can find creations abound with me and my little one on my blog
Lora
I am a stay at home Mum and live in a small village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland with my 3 children, Liam (13), Rhianna (8) and Chiara (6).  I have always liked all  things crafty, but got into card making around 4 years ago when I went to buy a new baby card when my Nephew was born and couldn't find anything I liked. I saw a card that had some stickers with it so you could write the baby's name on and it was very expensive, so I thought I would give it a go myself. So went and bought a basic card making kit, made that first card and never looked back.
My main craft is card making and I love to colour.  I love to try all different colouring mediums but at the moment I use my Promarkers and Copics the most.
I am so happy to be a part of Wags n Whiskers. Thanks for having me girls!
Pam
My name is Pam and I live in Kent in the UK with my cat Coco!  I work full time as a PA in the City of London, which is ok but really gets in the way of what I want to be doing which is crafting!

I have been crafting for some years.  Both my parents were crafty.  For as long as I can remember my Mum has always knitted and she also dabbled in some cross stitching.  My Dad was great at sketching and drawing, he never really took it far but he was amazing.  My crafty journey started in cross stitching which I continue to do when I can find the time!  I moved into papercraft and it completely took over my life!  I started my blog a year ago and my crafting skills have improved 100%, which is all down to the fabulous inspiration from all the crafters out there!

I have made some wonderful friends on my crafting journey which has been amazing.  Long may it continue!

Hello everyone! My name is Stephanie Lee and I am very honored and thrilled to be part of Wags ‘n Whiskers design team and be surrounded by all the talented artists. I am blessed to be married for 14 years to a man who is wonderfully tolerant of me and my paper and ink passion. We have two great little people – Shawn and Emma. I am also originally from Singapore, lived in Australia for over 5 yrs and now in the USA for the last 15 years.
I discovered scrapbooking and card making 5 years ago when my son was born. He inspired me to start creating. I enjoy experimenting with different materials and styles to see what new and special things I can come up with. Since then, I have had some wonderful opportunities to earn a living papercrafting – selling my greeting cards through my own company, Arty Carty Handmade Cards. I also recently started blogging in May this year and I’m thrilled to have met so many wonderful friends who share the same passion as me. I’m looking forward to getting to know you too.

Please welcome the girls to the team and don't forget to come back tomorrow for the new challenge!  we look forward to seeing  you!!!

KAREN

I absolutely LOVE paper craftimg.  I've been doing some form of it for as long as I can remember.  I feel like making scrapbook pages is a way to capture memories, and make looking at photos so much more interesting.  When I hand-design a card for someone, it shows them a part of me - it lets them know that I cared enough to make it myself and give a part of my heart to them.  (Kind of like the way you feel when your young children give you something they made - you just know it's from the heart).  It is my sincere desire that my crafting will always be a blessing, and a lifetime treasure, to my family, and that the things I make for people will bless them.  Everyone has God-given gifts and talents, and I feel that it is our responsibility to share our talents in a way that will bless and encourage others.  I hope you will visit my blog, and be blessed by what I create.  I'm so grateful for this Design Team position that allows me to share with all of you.

Introducing Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber Stamps

We can barely contain our excitement!! It has been so hard to keep this quiet!! But now we get to shout it to the world!!!

Nikki Fairbairn and Lacey Stephens (me) have joined forces from across the Atlantic Ocean to create our own Stamp Company called Wags ‘n Whiskers Rubber Stamps!!

Our images are based on our wonderful children and our furry pets! Zoe and Danni are Nikki’s beautiful girls with their pets Gemma (the “fat” older cat in the logo) and Bella (Danni’s little kitten). Ansley is Lacey’s sweet daughter with her little Yorkshire Terrior (or Yorkie for short) named Princess. And Ryan is Lacey’s active son with his trusty doggie blanket named BoBo!

The images of our children are brought to life by the super talented Crissy Armstrong!! YEAH!!!

Nikki, Crissy, and I all met while on the Design Team for High Hopes Rubber Stamps. When Crissy stepped down as their illustrator this summer, Nikki and I couldn’t let her slip away!! Within a very short time, we worked together to create Wags ‘n Whiskers Rubber Stamps!!

Now to introduce you to our artist, Crissy Armstrong…

"I have loved creating art all of my life, and I am happiest when I have a blank piece of paper and a pencil in my hand! I have taken various art courses through college and art clubs, but most of my skill has developed the hard way; through lots of practice! Stamp illustrating is such an exciting avenue for me, because I get a double blessing. The first blessing is the joy of creating a new design. But then I get to enjoy it all over again when I see what people make with my images! When they add color and embellishments and incorporate one of my illustrations into their own project, I feel as if I am collaborating with them to make something beautiful! I don't take this gift for granted, and it amazes me every time I think about it!"

We will see you tomorrow as we introduce you to two of our Design Divas!!
